Meet Vetta Capsule, a five-piece eco-friendly clothing collection you can mix and match to make 30 different outfits.
The idea of a capsule comes from having a small edited wardrobe where all the pieces are really personal. While normal collections can be between 20-30 pieces, a capsule collection is usually under 10 pieces.
Co-founders Vanessa van Zyl and Cara Bartlett set out to fight fast fashion, poor quality clothing, environmental pollution, exploited workers, and overflowing landfills.
According to ABC News, a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter tripled their fundraising goal, and the Vetta capsule collection was born.
We’ve all had situations when there’s a closet filled with clothes and nothing to wear. Vetta capsule consists of go-to items in the wardrobe that you love to wear and you can feel good about wearing.
Vetta collection is made from eco-friendly materials and natural fibers. No chemicals that go into the manufacturing process are released into the environment — they all get recycled.
Unlike 97% of clothing that is made overseas, the Vetta capsule collection is made in America, in a historic New York factory.
Zyl and Bartlett say, there is a need for responsible companies that take care of the people and the environment while implementing a sustainable way of making clothing.
