Note: Any Device Enrollment Program (DEP) software must be unlocked to be sold. Locked assets may be considered invalid.

Understanding the Costs Deducted from Gross Revenue
When we sell your IT assets, the total gross revenue generated covers various operational costs associated with the ITAD process. These costs are deducted before calculating the net profit, which is then shared with you.
Here’s a breakdown of what the gross revenue covers:
- Labor for Pickup and Removal: Expenses for the safe and efficient pickup and removal of your IT assets from your location.
- DoD-Compliant Data Wiping: Expenses for data sanitization compliant with the US Department of Defense 5220.22-M standard, overwriting all addressable locations on the drive to ensure your data is irretrievable.
- Testing of Each Unit: Costs incurred in testing each item to verify functionality and maximize resale value.
- Marketplace Fees: Expenses for posting items on online platforms, like eBay, for resale value recovery.
- Inventory Management: Costs for managing and storing your assets until they're sold.
- Customer Support: Expenses related to handling inquiries from potential buyers to facilitate sales.
- Sales and Transaction Fees: Approximately 10% of the sale price goes to listing fees on eBay or Amazon. Processing fees, around 3% per transaction is charged by services like PayPal.
- Packing and Shipping: Costs for materials and labor to pack items safely. UPS shipping fees ranging from $2 to $25 depending on the item's size and weight.
- Return and Restocking Provision: We allocate 3% to 5% of the revenue to cover potential returns and restocking fees.
Calculating Your Net Profit Share
After deducting these necessary costs from the gross revenue, we arrive at the net profit. We then share 50% of this net profit with you, providing you with a transparent and fair return on your IT assets.
