My Room in the Garden is the name of a tiny office pod that you can assemble and set up in a day virtually anywhere.

Boano Prišmontas, the designer of the pod, believes this tiny office can revolutionize the way we work from home. From WFH, we can go straight to WFG as this pod can squeeze even into the smallest of urban gardens.

According to The Spaces, the pod is only 2.5 meters-high and the owners don’t need to worry about obtaining planning permissions.

“The hut is made from birch plywood wrapped in corrugated polycarbonate to make sure workers get plenty of natural light while in the office. Interiors come with built-in shelves and a desk but can be customised with different finishes such as pegboard or mirrors.”

The designer claims that every piece of the pod is designed to minimize waste, and since it has a modular design, several of them can also be connected.

If the weather gets cold where you live, you can order the office pod with extra insulation, but that’ll set you back more than £5,000 ($6,800) — what the basic model costs in the UK.
