Yes — please remove all Apple ID, iCloud, EFI, Device Enrollment Program (DEP), and Remote Management locks before recycling any Apple product. Devices that still have these locks can be accepted but will not qualify for certified data destruction.

We do not accept loose batteries (batteries must be installed in a device), light bulbs, large appliances like stoves or dryers, hazardous waste, items containing liquid mercury, smoke detectors, or medical electronics. If you're unsure about something, contact us before making the trip.
