Qualifying BuyBack Items

GreenCitizen will continue to offer an expanding list of BuyBack items. Check back for other qualifying brands and devices in the future. United States residents only please.

Items that do not qualify can be dropped off at any of our eco-centers at no cost. GreenCitizen can recycle anything that plugs in or runs on batteries. We make sure they are reused and/or recycled responsibly in the Bay Area.

For those that live outside the Bay Area, and cannot use GreenCitizen, use companies that work with R2 or e-stewards certified vendors. GreenCitizen only works with R2 or e-stewards certified vendors. This level of certification ensures the company is recycling responsibly.

The GreenCitizen Mail-in Program is another option for small items, including old phones, laptops, ink cartridges, and cd's
